Forgotten World Motel

The old township of Whangamomona is New Zealand's only self-proclaimed Republic and a truly unique destination. The Whangamomona Hotel is one of the country's most iconic and historic hotels and the embodiment of the community's rich and quirky history. Stay in the original hotel (17 rooms - a mix of twin singles and doubles), the extensively renovated Bridge House or Butcher Shop or in one of the new luxury ensuite lodges.
