"Just do it!"
Our group of 4 did the half day trip, shuttled to Tokirima and rail carts back. A great length trip if you are travelling with elderly. These guys have got things organised, from a lovely lunch, right down to the homebaked cookies for afternoon tea and interesting information along the way. Fabulous guides - Ray, Dave and our shuttle driver for the day, Jo. You don't have to be a rail enthusiast to enjoy this great day out with loads of history and scenic views of this beautiful, hidden gem in the middle of NZ. (5-stars, Trip Advisor Jan 2024)
"Great day out"
We did the Tokirima 10 half day trip. We absolutely loved the day. Beautifully scenic and the guides were just brilliant. A real highlight of our holiday and I'd recommend this to anyone. We went away vowing to come back and do the full day trip through to Whangamomona next time. (5-stars, 2023)
"Unforgettable"
The Forgotten World adventure we did will not be forgotten! We got picked up and taken to the beautiful Lauren’s Lavender Farm and purchased all our Christmas pressies! Then completed the Tokirima Taster-a fun rail journey in a buggy which we drive ourselves-over bridges, through historic tunnels and through beautiful Taumarunui landscape. We got a full run down of the history from Erica our amazing guide with fun stories and lots of interesting facts. We have learnt so much about his area. Thank you to all the staff who made our trip so memorable-Erica, Selena, Dave and Jo! You were all so lovely to spend a day with. (5-stars, 2023)
